How items are detected
  • Overdue — open task past its due date. Critical when urgent/high priority, more than 7 days late, or blocking other tasks.
  • Blocking others — open task that other open tasks depend on (ClickUp dependencies).
  • Blocked — waiting on an unfinished dependency, or in a status like "blocked", "on hold" or "waiting".
  • Stalled — in progress with no update for longer than STALE_DAYS.
  • No owner — unassigned and either urgent/high priority or due within 7 days.
  • Due soon, not started — due within 3 days and still in a "to do" status.
  • Over estimate — tracked time more than 25% over the estimate.
  • Overloaded / idle — more in-progress tasks than MAX_ACTIVE_PER_PERSON (or 4+ overdue) / assigned work but nothing started.
  • Forecast slip — open tasks ÷ 4-week completion rate finishes after the latest due date.
  • Status pile-up — one in-progress status holds 40%+ of a project's active work and isn't moving (e.g. a review queue).
